Since 1994 elMundovino, one of the Spanish wine-related portals with the largest following abroad, has awarded a selection of wines chosen from the many different wines sampled by the tasting group throughout the year.
In its 20th edition, LaFou de Batea 2008 stood out among the twelve honourable mentions. The elMundovino Awards recognise those performing valuable work or reclaiming forgotten grape varieties or regions, as well as those innovating, reclaiming and/or preserving traditions.
