In April, the magazine “Cupatges” recommends LaFou Els Amelers as one of seven oak-aged white wines that must be tasted. LaFou Els Amelers is 100% white Grenache and its name “els amelers” pays tribute to the almond trees that grow alongside the vines in the vineyards in the Terra Alta region.
This wine is fermented and aged for six months in concrete egg vats and stainless steel tanks. 10% of the wine is aged in 300L oak barrels.
