LaFou de Batea’s new 2019 vintage, one of the winery’s most iconic and personal wines, will soon be released to the market. This new vintage coincides with a change in the wine label’s design, aligning with the elegant, delicate style that characterises the winery’s packaging for its wines.
LaFou de Batea is made using grapes from vineyards that are 50-70 years old, with calcareous soils with a loam and clay-loam texture, with elements of honeycomb. It’s a wine with a wide range of aromatic sensations, hints of raw hazelnut, red fruit and balsamic echoes of undergrowth. It has a fresh first impression, with good acidity to balance the Grenache sweetness.
