The sector’s international events calendar kicked off in Barcelona with the fourth edition of Barcelona Wine Week, followed by the Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris trade fair. In March, Foodex and Prowein will take place.
The fourth edition of Barcelona Wine Week took place in the first week of February, from the 3rd to the 5th. This year was a success in terms of visitors, welcoming over 21,000 people, and in terms of exhibiting wineries, which included LaFou Celler.
The fair activities included a Wine Tasting Journey self-guided tasting area. This year, its main theme was ‘Singular Vessels, recovering to innovate’. Visitors could taste 70 reference wines selected by an expert committee, including LaFou Els Amelers 2022.
A few days later, from 12th to 14th February, the winery took part in the 5th edition of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, at the Paris Expo venue.
In March, the 49th edition of Foodex Japan will take place (from 5th to 8th March). This is the largest agri-food fair in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. And, finally, the 29th edition of Prowein will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 10th to 12th March.
