La Vanguardia released its Wine Guide 2024 in February, a fourth edition featuring 100 wines the public shouldn’t miss this year.
LaFou de Rams 2018 is included in the 100 wines, scored at 94 points. The guide highlights that the wine has “a sophisticated concept and elaboration, selecting white Garnacha grapes from the Rams vineyard, which is more than 50 years old, alongside the four vinifications used to make it”. It also emphasises “its varietal character, complex and multifaceted, with aromas of white fruit, nuts, honey, citrus, balsamic and final nuances of salinity and tannins”.
The selection and tasting of the wines were led by the guide’s director Lluís Tolosa, Ferran Centelles, Meritxell Falgueras, María José Huertas, Alicia Estrada and Zoltan Nagy.
