Following the success of its first edition, the Terra Alta Appellation of Origin will celebrate the second edition of the Primavera D.O. Terra Alta between the 18th and the 22nd of April.
This new edition presents a complete agenda of activities that will take place in different locations of the Terra Alta region, with the purpose of enjoying the culture, the landscape and the wines from the area , and where the wines from LaFou Celler will also be present.
On Thursday April 18th a Technical Wine Tourism Conference will be held in Horta de Sant Joan, aimed at a professional audience (Wine Tourism experts, Tour operators, Agencies and Cellars).
On Friday April 19th, Judit Nedderman will give the opening concert of the Primavera D.O. Terra Alta, as part of the Cruïlla Festival, outside the church of the old village of Corbera. After the concert, the Dinner and award ceremony Gala of Terra Alta wine contest.
On Saturday April 20th, , the Muestra de Vinos de la D.O. Terra Alta ( the Terra Alta D.O. Festival Wine tasting) will take place on the Main Square of Batea, where visitors will be able to taste wines from the participating cellars.
Concurrently to the wine tasting, LaFou Celler will offer guided tours to the cellar, with a previous reservation, and the option of having a glass of wine, inside the cellar’s patio.
Also, on Saturday and Sunday, a new edition of Cruïlla D.O. Terra Alta Festival will be held in the Batea Football pitch, with the performances of Oques Grasses, Figa Flawas, Gertrudis, El Pony Menut and DJ Trapella. Tickets
On Monday April 22nd the agenda of activities will conclude with the Professional Conference aimed at professionals of the catering, Hospitality and distribution businesses.
